The Colloquia are preceded by "Cookies n' Coffee" in the Commons Room (Geology 3680) from 3:30pm - 4:00pm.

Purpose: The purpose of the Colloquium Series is to present hot topics of broad scientific interest in an exciting and accessible way. It is distinct from the specialized talks in sub-fields of the Department held on every day of the week.
