Title Geological Beauty of Yosemite Valley

Introduction to elementary geologic concepts relevant to formation of Yosemite valley. Includes a one-hour lecture (September 27) and three-day weekend field trip (October 5-7). Students expected to learn the most rudimentary processes of geologic research from field observations to final interpretations of geologic features in terms of the geologic history of Yosemite valley.
