2020 Commencement Celebration

Location: Young Hall Patio

The Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences (EPSS) invites all of our graduating students and award recipients, along with their families and friends, to join the EPSS faculty at a special 2020 Commencement Celebration lunch and awards ceremony on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students will assemble at 12:30 p.m. The event will take place on the Young Hall Patio (located between the Geology Building and Young Hall).

The Celebration will feature a luncheon buffet, an introduction of graduate degree and baccalaureate degree candidates, a valedictory speech, a commencement speech, and presentation of departmental scholarships and awards. Graduating students and award recipients will receive a complimentary ticket to attend free of charge; there will be a charge of $30 per person for all other attendees. Graduates will also take group photos. (Graduates, please remember to bring your cap and gown for the photo, from the College of Letters & Science Commencement events on Friday, June 12, or the Graduate Division Doctoral Hooding ceremony on Thursday, June 11).
