Exploring Your Universe (EYU) is UCLA’s largest annual science outreach event, drawing in thousands of children, parents, and friends from the Los Angeles community to enjoy special presentations, activities, and over 60 interactive science booths. An award ceremony for Mayim Bialik, a UCLA alumna, neuroscientist, and star of "The Big Bang Theory" will also be part of the event this year. For ten years, this science fair has used fun, hands-on demonstrations and experiments to provide free science education to explorers of all ages. EPSS has traditionally played a large role in this event, providing science booths that range from rocks and fossils to meteorites and planetary surfaces. This event is free and open to the public, and will take place this year on Sunday, Nov. 3 in the UCLA Court of Sciences. As one of the main events in celebrating UCLA's Centennial, EYU will have more booths, improved exhibits, and new activities; you won’t want to miss this year’s event!
