Update, September 24: This event has been cancelled. The weather forecast calls for cloudy skies on Friday night, so the telescopes would not be able to observe the Moon. We hope to see you at a future observing event.
Original announcement: Please join us on Friday, September 25, 2026 for International Observe the Moon Night at UCLA, part of an annual NASA sponsored celebration of observation, science, and exploration. The event will be hosted on the 9th floor roof of the UCLA Math Science Building from 7:30 – 9:30 PM, and will include telescopes and presentations regarding lunar and solar system science. The event is free and open to the public.
