ESS Professor Ed Young is being recognized for his work on isotopic compositions of meteorites and protoplanetary disks, for studies of the hydrology of asteroids, and for contributions to the understanding of isotopic fractionation during evaporation of silicates.  The award ceremony will take place during the 75th annual meeting of the Meteoritical Society, which will be held in Cairns, Australia, in August.
