Axel Schmitt paper is "Science" Editor's Choice
Adjunct Associate Professor Axel Schmitt's recent EPSL paper on rapid cooling rates of mid ocean ridges is one of this week's Editor's choices in Science Magazine. Schmitt and coworkers use zircon geochronology and thermobarometry to obtain a very short cooling rate for the Juan de Fuca Ridge. Read all about it at the link provided. Way to go Axel.
