EPSS Graduate Student Co-authors Article About Strongest Earthquake Ever Recorded in Oklahoma

News about a publication co-authored by EPSS graduate student Simran Sangha is featured on the NASA JPL website. Entitled "Surface Deformation of North-Central Oklahoma Related to the 2016 Mw 5.8 Pawnee Earthquake from SAR Interferometry Time Series", the article appears in the latest issue of Seismological Research Letters. Since 2014, Simran has worked at JPL on research under the Earth Surface and Interior group. Simran is advised by EPSS Professor Gilles Peltzer on his main thesis work, and is co-advised by Eric Fielding, a JPL Geophysicist who is the lead author for this Oklahoma earthquake paper, on a range of other projects.
