We are thrilled to announce that UCLA's crowdfunding platform will launch a campaign to raise money for EPSS student field trips. 

Over the last decade, we’ve been privileged to offer many of these trips at minimal or no cost to the undergraduate students thanks to the support of donors.

These trips offer the next generation of UCLA alumni an opportunity to blend the knowledge they’ve gained in the classroom with the kind of “hands-on and eyes-on” experiences that only time in the field can provide.

For example, last spring 11 students visited Kilauea volcano and witnessed high activity levels roughly 2 months before the eruption which destroyed more than 700 structures and caused the evacuation of 2,000 people.
