EPSS Associate Professor Aradhna Tripati has been named the 2017 recipient of the Geological Society of America's Bromery Award for Minorities. The award is given to a minority scientist who has made significant contributions to research in the geological sciences, or those who have been instrumental in opening the geoscience field to other minorities.

Tripati will receive her award during the 2017 GSA annual meeting in October. More about this year's GSA awards can be found here.
