John He is an interdisciplinary field geologist whose research bridges structural geology, sedimentology, geodynamic modeling, and thermo/petrochronology. From glacial erosion in Antarctica to the formation of enigmatic high-elevation basins on orogenic plateaus, his work explores processes that transform the planet's surface and crust over geologic time, and their potential linkages to deep-seated mantle dynamics.
